Vision
Vision, VMware’s consumer-facing design system, delivers the foundational styles, components, and guidelines that designers and engineers rely on. These resources help product teams work faster and ensure the overall experience is more cohesive for end users.
I was responsible for building and maintaining this cross-platform design system. Developing token and component libraries, creating vision mocks, writing clear design guidance, and partnering with design and engineering teams to drive both consistency and innovation.
A key part of this work involved defining cohesive semantic tokens. Covering color, typography, and iconography, that stay synced between Figma libraries and Engineering style directories, ensuring designers and engineers share the same visual language.

I’m Rob Eagle, currently living in a small town in West Texas with my high school sweetheart and our two boys.
I’m a designer with 10+ years of experience building beautiful, intuitive, and accessible products across mobile, web, and AI/LLM platforms. My roots are in graphic design, but most of my career has been spent leading product and design efforts at both startups and large enterprise companies.
I’m currently interested in work that is pushing creative and technical boundaries, while solving real problems that help real people.
